According to the latest web browser statistics Chrome 15 has overtaken Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) to become the world’s most popular individual web browser.
New figures released by StatCounter show that Chrome 15 surpassed IE8 in November by taking a 23.6% share of the market, compared to IE8’s 23.5% share.
However, when all the different versions of Internet Explorer and Google Chrome that are available are taken into account, more people in total still use a version of Internet Explorer than use a version of Chrome.
