Mozilla has announced that a Firefox Home application has been approved by Apple and can now be downloaded from the Apple Store for use on the iPhone.
Because Apple only allows users to surf the web on the iPhone using its own Safari browser, Mozilla’s new application is not a fully-fledged version of the Firefox web browser.
Instead, the application gives iPhone users who use Firefox on their desktops the ability to access their Firefox desktop history, bookmarks and open tabs on their iPhones and open pages using the iPhone’s Safari web browser that they have bookmarked or recently looked at on their desktop computers.
