Is e-mail becoming antiquated?

E-mail is a dying means of communication and is slowly being killed off by social networking, the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook has claimed the Neilsen Consumer 360 conference in Las Vegas, Sheryl Sandberg pointed out that only 11% of teenagers use e-mail, preferring to communicate via text messaging and social networks. "If you want to know what you'll be doing tomorrow,” she observed, “look at what teens are doing today."

Social networking is predicted to climb from over 2.1 billion accounts in 2010 to over 3.6 billion by 2014. And through our Whitereel portfolio of solutions and services, we can ensure your business makes the most of this increasingly popular form of communication.
