Turn your iPhone into a stethoscope

A scientist at University College London (UCL) has developed an iPhone app that may make the traditional Doctor’s stethoscope obsolete.

Developed by Dr Peter Bentley, the app allows users to listen to heartbeats and view a phonocardiograph display and a spectrogram, which they can then email to colleagues together with an audio file of the heartbeat.

According to Dr Bentley, cardiologists claim the app is not only more effective than a stethoscope but works better than expensive bespoke medical equipment.

We can develop an iPhone app for your business or brand that makes full use of the iPhone’s groundbreaking features and functionality and will help you reach new customers and widen your profit margins.
