Businesses are missing the point of social media and are using it in the wrong way, a new report has claimed.
According to the report, The State of Social Media for Business 2010, social networking has yet to be fully integrated into most organisation’s communication and marketing strategies.
And while the use of social networking in business is growing, organisations are often not using the right social media platform for their target audience and are using social media for brand promotion rather than to interact with prospective and existing customers.
