A new study into digital behaviours has found that consumers are increasingly researching brands online before making a purchasing decision.
Conducted by AMP Agency, the survey, Inside the Buy, found that whether they ultimately make a purchase online or in a shop, an increasing number of consumers are actively seeking out information through digital channels in order to make the best purchasing decision.
Nearly 50% of the consumers surveyed said they conducted online research into a product they were considering buying, with 94% stating that the research positively influenced their decision to make a purchase.
