iPad will be market-leading tablet until 2014

According to a research report the Apple iPad will lead the tablet market for at least the next four years.

Published by Gartner, the report states that the Apple iPad is on track to claim a 73% share of the tablet market in 2011. Despite the increasing popularity of Android tablets and the impending release of Windows 8 tablets, the report also predicts that the iPad will still have a market-leading share of 50% until at least 2014.
