Instead of announcing the launch of the iPhone 5 last week, as had been widely anticipated, Apple unveiled a refreshed version of the iPhone 4.
The iPhone 4S will be available from October 14 in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models. Although it will have the same look and feel as the iPhone 4, Apple claims it will have 200 new features, including an intelligent assistant that will allow users to ask the phone questions and receive detailed answers in return.
The phone will also have an improved camera and significantly extended battery life.
