In addition to launching a refreshed version of the iPhone last week, Apple also released a new version of its mobile operating system: iOS 5.
According to Apple, iOS 5 has more than 200 new features. Using the new operating system, users of iOS devices will be able to view notifications of new emails, texts, friend requests and missed calls in one place, send texts, photos and videos to other iOS 5 users for free, send tweets with just a single tap and take photos even when their iOS device is locked.
The new operating system can be used on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and has been made available for free to existing iPhone customers.
