Android overtakes Opera

According to the latest mobile web browser statistics, Android has overtaken Opera Mini to become the second most commonly used browser on tablets and mobile phones.

Android’s share of the mobile browser market has grown from 12% in January to 18% in October. During the same period, Opera Mini’s share of the market has dropped from 21% to 13%.

However, Apple’s Safari browser continues to dominate the mobile web browser market. Last month, 62% of mobile and tablet users accessed the Internet using Safari on an iOS-based device.

We design and develop websites that are easy to view and effortless to browse on all mobiles and tablets and no matter which browser visitors use.
