According to figures released by the Office of National Statistics (ONS), UK consumers now spend more than £750 million a week online.
ONS data shows that the average weekly online spend in the UK rose from £546 million to £787 million between October and November. That means that online sales in the UK now account for 12.2% of all retail spending, which is the highest figure ever recorded for online shopping.
