The European Commission (EC) wants to use eCommerce to create jobs, growth and economic stability in Europe.
Although eCommerce sales are currently strong in Europe, the institution wants to double e-Commerce sales and the Internet's contribution to European GDP by 2015 in order to drive job creation and help ease the current economic crisis.
